What Are Common Car Detailing Equipment Systems?

Various cleaning machines can be used as car detailing equipment. For example, both carpet cleaners and pressure washers are excellent machines for cleaning automobile. However, one machine is not more beneficial than the other. Each has its own specific cleaning applications.

In an ideal situation, multiple machines should be used for the task, as no single machine is fully capable of effectively cleaning various types of surfaces found in an automobile. That is, carpet cleaners are best for cleaning soft surfaces, while pressure washers or steam cleaners are more suitable for cleaning hard surfaces. The following is an overview of commonly used car detailing equipment.

Carpet Cleaners
Carpet cleaners in Daimer®’s XTreme Power® series are mainly used for cleaning the soft surfaces on the interior of automobiles, such as carpets, mats, and seat upholstery. There are two things to check when buying these machines for auto detailing. First, the machines should be equipped with low flow technology. Such car detailing equipment reduces the drying time of the surface, often to as little as two hours. Second, one must opt for upholstery wands in addition to the customary carpet wands. Otherwise, cleaning the seat upholstery will be difficult.

Pressure Washers
Car detailing equipment for the hard exterior parts of vehicles can be considered pressure washers. These machines are best for cleaning body and engine parts of automobiles. The most important thing to check when buying these machines is that the output pressure level should not exceed 1500 psi. Similarly, the flow rate must be as low as possible.
