How to Make Car Detailing Equipment Work Better

Most cleaning professionals use a variety of car detailing equipment. They use all the available machines for meeting both quality and quantity criteria. Customers not only want their vehicles cleaned, but want the job performed quickly too. The pressure on a cleaning professional is to deliver a perfectly cleaned vehicle in as little time as possible. Experienced cleaning professionals know that top grade cleaning machines supplied by Daimer® allow professionals to do just this and provide satisfied customers with clean vehicles.

Using the Right Machine
It is a rule of thumb that one must use different car detailing equipment on various types of surfaces, as different materials require specific cleaning methods. For cleaning mats and carpets, a carpet cleaner is the best bet. The same goes for cleaning seat upholstery. It is advisable to use separate wands for cleaning different surfaces. Daimer® offers separate upholstery wands and carpet wands along with the machine.

Similarly, hard surfaces require more powerful car detailing equipment. Pressure washers are best suited for cleaning the body and engine parts. Consider Daimer®’s Super Max™ 6120SCW, a machine that combines a harmless pressure level reaching 1000 psi, a steam temperature of 250°F, and a flow rate of 0.5 GPM.

Low Flow Machines
Car detailing equipment like pressure washers are recommended to use lower flow rates during cleaning. This helps reduce the amount of water needed for cleaning and the cost of disposing the water when finished.

While car washing equipment must not exceed pressure levels of 1500 PSI, bus washing equipment requires higher pressure levels. Bus washing equipment generates pressure up to 3000 PSI. Daimer®'s range of pressure washers include machines powered by electricity, gasoline, and diesel.

Buses, trucks, and other heavy vehicles require the power of high pressure and high temperature. Daimer®'s machines fulfill both the conditions and are, therefore, considered ideal for washing buses, fleets of trucks, and for hosing down the recreational vehicles and boats.

This is not the only reason to purchase a high-powered machine from Daimer®. These machines feature flow rates of up to 5 GPM, which are suitable for washing larger vehicles. The fourth reason to purchase machines, such as the Super MaxTM 12860, is its portability. This type of bus washing equipment can be mounted on a trailer and transported long distances. If you own a mobile truck washing or car cleaning business, then this type of equipment would suit your requirements the best.

Another reason for contractors to use this machine is its versatility. Daimer®'s bus washing equipment is available in different power standards, such as 50 Hz or 60 Hz frequency. With a heavy-duty, 10 HP motor, the Super Max TM 12860 is one of the most popular automobile washing systems in Daimer®'s inventory.

The heavy-duty schedule 80 heating coil facilitates quick heating of water. This portable pressure washer requires just 30 seconds to heat water. Daimer®'s machines are designed for continuous use. Durable parts, corrosion resistant elements, and efficiency boosting mechanism are some of the features of bus washing equipment to reduce down time and increase productivity.

Why Use Truck Washing Equipment For Grease Removal?

Trucks need to be regularly cleaned due to the deposition of grime, especially grease, on their exterior surfaces. Pressure washers with high pressure and temperature levels are generally used as a truck washing equipment. Pressure cleaners designed for washing trailers, tractors, and trucks are extensively used by car wash businesses, fleet owners, and contractors required to clean heavy vehicles on a regular basis. Before you purchase a truck washing equipment or a car pressure washer, you should know which kind of machine works best for you.

Usually, truck washing machines are portable because contractors are required to travel long distances in order to wash trucks. Therefore, when you are purchasing a truck washing equipment, check if it is trailer mountable. Some truck washing systems move on wheels, so if you are looking for a machine with limited mobility within a small area, such machines are ideal.

One of the biggest advantages of using this type of a truck washing equipment is its effective grease removal capability. Trucks and other heavy vehicles are usually covered in greasy matter containing not only grease but also hydrocarbons. As a result, the high pressure water spray emitted by pressure wash systems is appropriate for removing grease and grime from trucks. Additionally, truck washing systems also feature temperature levels as high as 250°F. As a result, they are very effective in dissolving grease and removing plants sap, bug spatter, and similar matter from truck exteriors. These machines are often used for removing frost and ice from external parts during winters.

Before you purchase a truck washing equipment, you may also have to consider the water availability. Contractors usually prefer truck washing machines with moderate flow rates of less than 3 gpm for washing trucks and other vehicles. The right equipment will improve productivity and help you wash trucks safely.

To effectively maintain fleets of buses, trucks, trailers and other large vehicles, cleaning experts now utilize the best truck washing equipment. The most notable advantage of switching to these machines is that it saves users from the overwhelming effort of scrubbing and washing different surfaces of vehicle exteriors. It also helps accomplish faster cleaning results, so that car wash professionals can clean more vehicles and thus improve their profits.

To ensure excellent cleaning results, the truck washing equipment used for maintaining heavy vehicles must feature adequately high pressure levels. Cleaning experts agree that pressure levels of up to 1500 psi are safe for use on vehicle exteriors, however, for cleaning trucks, high pressure levels can also be used. The next challenge is removing dirt, mud, grease, tree sap, and other tough deposits from vehicle exteriors. A truck washing equipment from a reputed distributor would generate moisture at high temperatures to dissolve almost all kinds of deposits from vehicle exteriors.

Traditional methods of cleaning trucks involve the use of huge volumes of water. With growing emphasis on water conservation, it makes sense to choose car pressure washer machines with low flow rates. It would also be best to choose a truck washing equipment that serves functions other than maintaining vehicle exteriors.

The Super Max™ 9000SCW from Daimer® is a highly advanced, tri-mode truck washing equipment designed specifically to simplify the challenges involves in maintaining the exteriors of large vehicles. High pressure levels of 1500 psi, low flow rates of 2.8 gpm and temperatures as high as 250ºF enable the machine to dissolve and eliminate tough deposits and snow buildup from tires, wheels, glass surfaces, mirrors, and exteriors.

Recreational vehicles are on the road for days, maybe weeks at times. As a result, carpets inside the vehicles get grimy very easy. The dirt on the roads finds its way into the vehicles. As a result, the RVs, that are used frequently, require thorough cleaning. RV carpet cleaning machines are designed for commercial cleaning and can, therefore, carry out heavy-duty carpet cleaning.

If you are a contractor, you will probably be hired to clean many different types of carpets and upholstered surfaces. The latest RV carpet cleaning machines are designed to remove stains, dirt, and mold from carpets and fabric upholstery. Not just cleaning contractors, many individuals also prefer using RV carpet cleaning machines meant for commercial use, rather than wasting time with inefficient, less powerful, domestic-use machines.

RV carpet cleaning machines should ideally feature hot water cleaning. Heat melts grease and many other types of dirt and makes the removal easy. However, if you feel that you are not required to clean grease or similar substances from carpets too frequently, you can purchase the less expensive non-heated version of these machines. While such machines cannot heat water, they can use water as hot as 140°F. Machines with heating devices can attain temperatures as high as 210°F. As a result, these machines are widely used for removing grease, food residue, and stains from carpets. Auto carpet cleaners feature a small 4-inch wand for cleaning car upholstery easily. However, users can also purchase the larger 12-inch wand for cleaning regular carpets.

To make the cleaning process even more effective, experts suggest pre-spraying the carpets with a detergent before using the RV carpet cleaning machines. Contractors and car wash businesses are discovering the advantages of using biodegradable detergents for carpet washing. These products are environment friendly, nontoxic, and nonflammable.

Car Wash Equipment: To Make Your Car Gleam Like New!

Until recently, car detailing professionals did not have many choices when it came to car wash equipment. They had to choose from machines, such as steamers and pressure washer systems that were primarily designed for other cleaning applications. These machines were designed for maintaining floors, walls, and industrial machinery, and were not exactly suitable for car cleaning applications.

Drawbacks of traditional cleaning machines
Conventional pressure cleaner systems came with high flow rates of up to 5 GPM that naturally led to water wastage. In addition, high pressure levels of up to 3000 psi of various power washing systems could damage vehicle exteriors. Vapor steamers were also not effective for cleaning vehicles since their pressure levels were very low. To meet the specific requirements of vehicle detailing professionals, various brands launched advanced car wash equipment. Such car washer equipment includes the best features of all these cleaning machines.

Advanced car cleaning machines
The best car wash equipment available these days comes with super hot temperatures, average pressure levels, and low flow rates. The high steam temperatures help dissolve tough deposits on vehicle exteriors, while the pressure levels below 1500 psi help blast away dissolved dirt deposits without damaging the car paint. The low flow rates of car washer equipment make the machine safe for detailing even the most delicate components. It also keeps water consumption to a minimum.

Choosing the Right Car Wash Equipment!

When choosing a car wash equipment, it’s important to consider how well-equipped the unit really is. Certain car washing machines are more effective than others, as these units are built with keeping cleaning efficiency, eco-friendliness and convenience in mind. Very effective car wash equipment should be versatile enough to deal with the many different challenges that come with auto detailing. Some vehicles may have very demanding cleaning requirements, whereas others may have relatively lighter cleaning needs. Whether it’s a steam car wash or an interior detailing job, there are certain important features that all these detailing machines should possess.

Watching the water!
It’s a common misconception that a car wash equipment needs to use large volumes of water for cleaning. The truth is that some of the most effective cleaning machines don’t use much water at all! Power washers that are used for exterior detailing jobs should have water flow rates of 0.5 GPM. These rates are ideal for washing away dirt and debris without causing any damage to the vehicle body. These water flow rates also ensure that there is no unnecessary water wastage during the cleaning process.

It’s a good idea to invest in a car wash equipment that is eco-friendly. This is especially important for mobile car washes, where the cleaning may be done in a residential area. Eco-friendly car wash equipment will not harm the environment in any way and will be safe to use on different vehicles as well. Car wash machines from Daimer conserve water without compromising on cleaning power. It’s even better when these units provide cleaning power that is eco-friendly as well.

Top Features of Steam Car Wash Machines

The latest line of steam car wash machines solve many problems usually encountered during vehicle cleaning. These machines include lower pressure levels safe for vehicles and adequate temperature levels for removing tough dirt and grease.

The latest models of steam car wash machines enable users to quickly and efficiently clean vehicle exteriors. Here is an overview of some of the top features of these machines.

Low Pressure
These machines are pressure washers that use the power of steam for cleaning more difficult to remove dirt and stains. For this purpose, the output pressure is kept low. It never exceeds 1500 psi. The average output pressure steam car washing equipment is around 1000 psi.

Low Flow Rate
These machines are an excellent choice to carry out mobile car washing. These can be attached to trucks, trailers, and other vehicles. In addition, the flow rate is very low, often as low as 0.5 GPM. That means the use of these machines does not cause any drainage or water run-off issues.

Output Temperature
Steam car wash machines offer a reasonably high temperature too. Some of the latest machines offer an output temperature of 250°F. The high output temperature makes the cleaning not just more efficient, but quicker and easier too.

The Importance of Mobility in a Mobile Car Wash

A mobile car wash can be a lucrative business and a huge convenience for clients. Many people simply don’t have the time to take their vehicle in for cleaning. A mobile detailing service lets clients have their car cleaned while they are at home or even if they are at work. In order to make this kind of business really work, it’s important to invest in the right kind of auto detailing machines. Interiors should be cleaned with carpet cleaning equipment and steam cleaning units. The exteriors should be cleaned with pressure washers. Mobile pressure washing units allow the user to do a thorough cleaning job in a fast and convenient way.

Getting Around It
A mobile car wash will have to deal with vehicles of different sizes. Some people might have a small, sporty car to clean, whereas others might require detailing work on their RV. In both cases, a mobile pressure washer can make a world of difference to the detailing job. Conventional cleaning tools like sponges and hoses can’t always clean hard-to-reach areas. A mobile unit means that the user only has to deal with a single piece of machinery. These machines can be easily taken around vehicles of different sizes and can clean difficult spaces with relative ease.

A complete mobile car wash needs mobile pressure washing units in order to be truly mobile. These machines can simplify the cleaning process, making it easier to navigate around cars and trucks while cleaning. At the same time, they won’t compromise on cleaning power and will effectively lift and remove different kinds of dirt and debris from car surfaces.

A Guide to Car Detailing Equipment

If you search for car detailing equipment on the Internet, you will get more results than you expect. However, your happiness at finding such a large number of websites that sell cleaning products is likely to be short-lived, if you are not careful enough. There are some genuine websites that sell top quality cleaning machines but there is an equal number of websites, if not more, that deal with fraudulent products.

This post offers an overview of the major car detailing equipment available on the market. Acquiring sound knowledge about cleaning machines is the only way to avoid frauds and scams in this field.

Types of Machines
Mainly, three types of cleaning machines are used as car detailing equipment - carpet cleaners, pressure washers, and steam cleaners. Carpet cleaners are for cleaning the soft surfaces on the interior of the vehicles, such as mats, carpets, and seat upholstery. These machines do not have sufficient power to clean the hard exterior surfaces and engine components.

For cleaning engines, more powerful cleaning machines such as pressure washers are used. Pressure washers are the more popular car detailing equipment for vehicle exteriors. Pressure washing machines can wash away virtually any kind of dirt and impurities from the vehicle body and engine parts. Steam cleaners do not have the pressure levels for effective exterior cleaning.

Low Flow Machines
All car detailing equipment should have one common quality - low flow rate or flow level. Machines that consume less water ensure the vehicle surfaces dry quickly and the vehicles can be delivered to customers without much delay. It also reduces the change of waste water fines.

What Are Common Car Detailing Equipment Systems?

Various cleaning machines can be used as car detailing equipment. For example, both carpet cleaners and pressure washers are excellent machines for cleaning automobile. However, one machine is not more beneficial than the other. Each has its own specific cleaning applications.

In an ideal situation, multiple machines should be used for the task, as no single machine is fully capable of effectively cleaning various types of surfaces found in an automobile. That is, carpet cleaners are best for cleaning soft surfaces, while pressure washers or steam cleaners are more suitable for cleaning hard surfaces. The following is an overview of commonly used car detailing equipment.

Carpet Cleaners
Carpet cleaners in Daimer®’s XTreme Power® series are mainly used for cleaning the soft surfaces on the interior of automobiles, such as carpets, mats, and seat upholstery. There are two things to check when buying these machines for auto detailing. First, the machines should be equipped with low flow technology. Such car detailing equipment reduces the drying time of the surface, often to as little as two hours. Second, one must opt for upholstery wands in addition to the customary carpet wands. Otherwise, cleaning the seat upholstery will be difficult.

Pressure Washers
Car detailing equipment for the hard exterior parts of vehicles can be considered pressure washers. These machines are best for cleaning body and engine parts of automobiles. The most important thing to check when buying these machines is that the output pressure level should not exceed 1500 psi. Similarly, the flow rate must be as low as possible.

Tips to Buy Car Detailing Equipment: Pressure Washers

Buying car detailing equipment can be done online with a click of a button. However, the ease of purchase in itself does not guarantee superior quality. For buying good quality machines, one must do a bit of research and should be prepared to check the product specifications thoroughly. In addition, one must be able to understand the changes happening in this field. A good case in point is advances in pressure washers.

Evolution of Pressure Washers
Previously, pressure washers were not suitable car detailing equipment. The high pressure output of these machines often created dents and scratches on the exteriors. As a result, conventional pressure washers were considered unsuitable for auto detailing. However, the technological advances have ensured that the new, sophisticated pressure washing machines are excellent car detailing equipment too.

Tips to Buy
The first thing to check is the output pressure. Never buy a pressure washer for use as car detailing equipment if its output pressure is more than 1500 psi. Second, most professionals prefer the flow rates to remain as low as possible. This helps reduce the amount of water needed during the cleaning process and helps reduce EPA fines for waste water disposal.

Complete Car Detailing Equipment for Complete Car Care

Car detailing equipment does not consist of a single cleaning machine or product. For effective auto detailing that covers every part of the vehicle, it is important to have a comprehensive collection of cleaning equipment. This is because complete detailing covers the inside and the outside of the automobile. These areas have unique and challenging cleaning needs based on the materials to be cleaned. Tackling car upholstery is very different from cleaning car tires or windows. Apart from this, it is also recommended to use the right kind cleaning agents. These should be eco-friendly cleaning products that will not leave behind corrosive traces or harsh fumes after cleaning.

Daimer® recognizes the different ways in which car detailing equipment should be used. When it comes to cleaning the exteriors, it is best to opt for a pressure washer like the Super Max™ 6120SCW. This unit has pressure levels at 1000 psi and additionally has water flow rates of 0.5 GPM. Such car detailing equipment is ideal for effective cleaning that will not damage the vehicle body in any way. The relatively low water flow rates will ensure that there is no unnecessary water wastage during the cleaning process.

For interior car detailing equipment it is important to use carpet cleaning machines that do not use a lot of water. High water usage means that the upholstery and carpeting will take a very long time to dry out. Frequently, the upholstery does not get proper aeration and so germs and bacteria take root in the damp material. It is best to invest in carpet cleaners like the XTreme Power® XPC-5700U that rely on suction and extraction to remove unwanted deposits from the carpet and upholstery. These carpet cleaning machines provide extra cleaning power when used with eco-friendly green chemicals.

An Overview of Top Car Detailing Equipment

The success of an auto detailing firm depends on suitable and reliable car detailing equipment. Even an experienced cleaning professional cannot do much with an inefficient and cumbersome cleaning machine. On the other hand, good quality machines make the job of the workers easier and quicker. The following is an overview of some of the top car detailing equipment offered by Daimer®.

Pressure Washers
These are powerful machines used mainly for cleaning the hard and sturdy parts of vehicles, such as metal body, engine parts, and other interior components. When selecting pressure washers as car detailing equipment, one must make sure that the machine does not have an output pressure level of more than 1500 psi. If a machine with a higher output pressure is used, it may scratch or dent the vehicle. In addition, professionals often prefer lower flow rates, as machines with this feature consume less water during the cleaning process, producing less waste water disposal costs.

Carpet Cleaners
Carpet cleaners are used for cleaning the softer internal surfaces of vehicles, such as mats, carpets, and seat upholstery. When choosing carpet cleaners for use as car detailing equipment ensure that the machine is equipped with low flow technology. Otherwise, the interior surfaces of the vehicles will take a long time to dry up.

An Overview of Car Detailing Equipment

A quick internet search would reveal a large variety of car detailing equipment available. Out of these models, there are 3 basic types. The three fundamental cleaning machines used in auto detailing are carpet cleaners, pressure washers, and steam cleaners.

Carpet Cleaners
Carpet cleaners are the best car detailing equipment for cleaning interiors. With a maximum output pressure of 500 psi and a maximum output temperature of 210°F, these machines are perfect for cleaning the softer surfaces in the interior of vehicles. Carpet cleaners are mainly used to clean seat upholstery, carpets, and mats. For auto detailing, it is best to buy carpet cleaning machines equipped with low flow technology.

Pressure Washers
You can find pressure washers specially made for cleaning automobiles. Such car detailing equipment, including Daimer®’s Super Max™ 6120SCW, will have an output pressure level of less than 1500 psi and a low flow rate of 0.5 GPM. Machines with high pressure levels could cause damage to the softer surfaces of the vehicles. Pressure washers are usually used for cleaning the hard surfaces, like the engine parts and body.

Steam Cleaners
Another type of car detailing equipment is a steam cleaner. This machine uses high temperature output, usually as high as 386°F. This is an excellent machine for cleaning vehicle dashboards, steering wheels, and spot cleaning seats and mats.
